I had the absolute pleasure of capturing Georgina and James’s wedding at the stunning Moyles Court School. As a Dorset wedding photographer, this is one of my favorite locations because of the There’s a psychological comfort in being surrounded by something that has stood the test of time; it provides a sense of continuity.

As a wedding photographer in Ringwood, I’m lucky to witness so many incredible days — and Georgina and James’ wedding at Moyles Court School was truly something special. Set in the heart of the New Forest, this hidden gem made the perfect backdrop for a celebration that was as warm and relaxed as the couple themselves.

Their day began with a heartfelt ceremony, filled with emotion and happy tears, set in the beautiful grounds of the school. Georgina looked stunning in her elegant gown, and James couldn’t stop smiling the moment he saw her. Capturing these moments is what makes wedding photography in Ringwood so rewarding — it’s all about those real, unscripted emotions.

After saying “I do,” guests spilled outside into the sunshine for a glass (or two) of chilled Prosecco. The gardens at Moyles Court were buzzing with laughter and conversation as friends and family soaked up the atmosphere. The setting offered a beautiful blend of countryside charm and relaxed elegance — perfect for natural, candid wedding photography.

The marquee reception continued the laid-back vibe, with soft florals, pastel details, and a delicious hog roast served up for dinner. It was a true feast — relaxed, hearty, and shared with plenty of toasts and stories. I love photographing these in-between moments: people chatting, laughing, kids playing, and everyone just enjoying being together.

Later, as the sun dipped behind the trees, we slipped away for some golden-hour portraits. Moyles Court’s woodland edges and open grounds gave us the most dreamy light — ideal for soft, romantic images that really reflect the couple’s connection.

As night fell, the disco began and the energy ramped up. No live band needed here — the playlist kept the dance floor packed, with guests throwing themselves into the party spirit. It was a brilliant end to a day filled with laughter, love, and a whole lot of dancing.

Being part of Georgina and James’ day was a joy. As a Ringwood wedding photographer, it’s days like this that remind me why I love what I do — telling the story of a couple's day in a natural, meaningful way.
