Gemma & Anthony’s Spring Wedding

The 17th of April, 2026, brought a beautiful blend of historic charm and vibrant spring color to the heart of Wiltshire for Gemma and Anthony’s wedding. Their celebration at the Salisbury (Bourne Hill) was a masterclass in how to pair personal style with the timeless backdrop of one of England's most picturesque cities.

The Setting: Bourne Hill

Located in the historic Council House, the Salisbury Registry Office offers a unique duality for photography. To the front, you have the grand, red-brick Georgian architecture; to the back, the lush, secluded greenery of the surrounding parkland.

We took full advantage of the Grade II listed grounds, where the spring leaves provided a soft, filtered light that is a photographer's dream. The modern glass extensions of the building also provided a sleek, contemporary contrast for some of the more architectural portraits.

Style & Detail

Gemma and Anthony’s choice of colors was inspired.

The Florals: The bright, bold yellow of sunflowers mixed with lavender-toned roses created a striking visual pop against the deep greens of the park.

The Attire: Anthony looked sharp in a forest-green textured suit paired with a rich plum-purple waistcoat—a sophisticated choice that moved away from traditional grey or navy.

The "Veil Moment": One of the highlights was capturing Gemma’s cathedral-length veil. As the breeze picked up in the park, the shimmering fabric created a stunning, ethereal movement that truly felt like a fairytale moment.

Capturing the Connection

The most beautiful part of the day wasn't just the scenery, but the energy between the couple. From the quiet, intimate glances during their stroll through the trees to the joyful, candid laughter as they walked hand-in-hand toward their future, every frame captured a genuine sense of celebration.

Whether it was a dramatic kiss in front of the historic brickwork or a playful twirl on the lawn, Gemma and Anthony’s day was a perfect reflection of their journey together: colorful, bright, and full of life..
